Increasing the energy efficiency of "Danny and Simo" SLTD. through implementation of energy saving measures for sustainable growth and competitiveness

This project is focused on increasing of the competitiveness and achieving of sustainable growth by improving the energy efficiency of "Danny and Simo" SLtd. by applying a package of energy saving measures, as follows: - purchase and commissioning of 2 injection molding machines, clamping force 1200 kN; - purchase and installation of a system for utilization of waste heat; - purchase and implementation of energy monitoring system. The project includes also introduction and certification of energy management system in accordance with standard BS EN ISO 50001 (Energy Management Systems) / EN ISO 50001. The energy efficiency of "Danny and Simo" SLtd will be increased with the realization of planned investments, as a result of this project. That will reduce the cost of production and will contribute to the introduction and development of environmentally friendly technologies with much higher performance, by which sustainable growth and increased competitiveness of the enterprise will be achived. The benefits of the project are related to reduction of production costs and increased production capacity, generation of employment and achievment of resource efficiency by introducing non-waste technology, utilization of waste heat and using recycled materials. The expected results of the project are: - Increased energy efficiency - expected annual energy savings: 126 563,41 kWh/year and planned energy savings for company: 44,94%; - Environmental benefits - saving CO2 emissions - 103,625 t/year, implemented non-waste technologies; - Expanded production capacity of "Danny and Simo" SLtd. - incresed productivity by over 10% with lowwer cost of products; - Improved quality and zero waste; - Created minimum 2 new jobs; - Increased competitiveness and achieved sustainable growth of the company.
