Increasing the competitiveness of Adiva Ltd. by increasing energy efficiency and expanding production capacity

In its development Adiva EOOD aims to expand its production by following the global trends of using environmentally-friendly technologies. In line with this policy, the planned project activities are related to purchasing energy efficient modern equipment in order to increase the energy efficiency of the existing production and reduce production expenses. In order to achieve this, Adiva EOOD plans to purchase a new technological line of 9 highly efficient next-generation sewing machines with higher productivity and lower specific energy consumption, which will result in 72.8% factor of energy savings and 10,201 tons per year saved emissions CO2. Another investment planned is the purchase of a new cutting line from a new high-tech plotting system with a cutting robot, which will be more productive and will have lower specific energy consumption, thus achieving factor of energy savings 48,7% and 16,997 tons per year saved emissions CO2. In addition to the measures described above, Adiva EOOD has planned under Element B “Services” the use of consulting services for the implementation and certification of an energy management system at the company as per the requirements of Standard BSS EN ISO 50001:2011. As a result of the successful implementation of the planned activities Adiva EOOD will be able to start applying a more environmentally-friendly production policy by using energy efficient technologies that do not harm the environment. The implementation of an energy management system will allow the company to significantly improve its energy characteristics, including improved energy efficiency, optimized and reduced energy use.
