"Sustainable development, by implementing measures for energy and resource efficiency "ZTKI" Ltd."

"ZTKI" Ltd. (Plant Technical Rubber Products) is an enterprise founded in 1970 for the Ministry of heavy chemical industry, in 1999 it was privatized. The range of manufactured rubber products includes over 7,000 items, such as continuously improve quality by integrating new technologies. The main target, set in the overall development strategy of the company, is to increase the sustainable competitiveness of the enterprise, through continuous improvement of product quality, reducing cost of production and increasing the capacity of production. With the implementation of activities under this project, the company will implement measures for energy and resource efficiency based on recommendations from the energy report - investment in new fixed assets and inedible works, at direction of expanding the capacity of existing business facility. That will reduce costs unit production, improve the precision of manufacture of the parts and increase the volume of production. In addition, to improve control over costs, targeting the increase of profits while saving energy and ecological balance and establish a balance between economic, social and technological development of the enterprise, will introduce and certify energy management system under BS EN ISO 50001. As a result, the implementation of such planned activities will reduce electricity consumption and emissions of CO2 in the production process, and will satisfy the needs of "ZTKI" Ltd. to increase competitiveness in one line with the long-term and sustainable company growth. In support of more sustainable growth and lower energy intensity in the economy overall , are provided activities for information and publicity, that can multiply some activities from the project to other enterprises.
