Improving energy efficiency and capacity of LOKAN Ltd.

LOKAN Ltd. is a Bulgarian company specialized mainly in printing materials for the textile and clothing industry, thermal transfer printing and accompanying labels finishing, cutting, folding and packing. Since the establishment of its management company strives to regularly renew the existing equipment, placing a growing emphasis on sustainable development. Entirely in line with this policy, planned under this project activities are linked to the purchase of energy efficient equipment in order to increase the energy efficiency of existing production and reduce production costs. For the realization of this objective LOKAN Ltd. plans to implement the following activities: 1. Buying a thermal transfer printer (type 1) - duplex, 2 colors on top, 1 color underneath, with greater performance at lower specific energy consumption, which is predicted to achieve energy savings of 64.29% and a decrease of 3.08 tons / year. CO² emissions. 2. Buying a thermal transfer printer (type 2) - double-sided, one color on top, 1 color underneath, which will also achieve significant energy savings of 55.06% and a reduction of CO² emissions emitted by 1.53 tons / year. 3. Use of advisory services to introduce an energy management system in the enterprise, according to the requirements of standard BS EN ISO 50001. As a result of the implementation of planned activities LOKAN Ltd. will be able to start implementing greener production policy, using energy efficient technologies, environmentally friendly. Introduction of energy management will allow the company to optimize the use of energy, which will reduce production and energy consumption. Not least as a result of the successful implementation of the planned project activities, the company will significantly increase its production capacity and product quality, which will allow attracting new customers and expansion.
