Introducing measures for increasing the energy efficiency of ET (sole proprietor) trader “KATINA – Katya Petrova”

The following project proposal is based on the energy audit report and recommendations for the implementation of measures for increasing the energy efficiency of “KATINA-Katya Petrova” Sole Proprietor,developed by “An Energy” Ltd.The activities,related to the preparation of the energy audit,are already implemented and are described as Activity 1 in the project. The project is developed in response to the growing need for optimization of the business processes to achieve a sustainable development of ET KATINA through increasing production capacity and reduction of the costs for power needed per unit of production. The planned activities under Element “A” Investments are related to the measures in the energy audit report-replacement of technically outdated machines and equipment with new high-tech and energy-efficient machinery and equipment for production of roll-up blinds (Measure 1) and vertical blinds (Measure 2),screw compressor with variable speed drive and integrated refrigeration dryer (Measure 3),construction of an exhaust vent (Measure 4) and construction of a roof-mounted photovoltaic power plant to meet the company’s own needs (Measure 5). The project proposal includes activities under component B "Services",related to implementation of an Automated System for Monitoring Energy Consumption (ASME)-Measure 6 by the energy audit report,as well as activity for implementation and certification of Energy Management System (EMS) to ISO50001. Expected results:Realization of 52,41% energy savings min.value; CO2 Emissions savings – 52,74 tons/year min. value; Purchased and implemented fixed tangible assets, fixed intangible assets, measures implemented for visualization and publicity; Reduced total energy consumption within the company and reduced cost per unit of output; Achieved higher productivity level. Planned duration of the project: 18 months The budget allocated for the realization of the project amounting to 237 765,81 BGN without VAT incl.
