Increasing the competitiveness of MILENIUM MK 2010 Ltd. by improving the energy efficiency of the company

MILLENIUM MK 2010 Ltd was established in 2011. Its main activity is the production of plastic household - pots, urns, boxes for balconies, buckets, basins and others. The technology of manufacture is injection molding by injection molding, for which we use injection molding machines with different clamping force to achieve a wide variety of products. Some of the equipment is energy intensive, obsolete and with low productivity. The subject of this project proposal is to implement a set of measures based on the recommendations of a report by an energy audit that will contribute to improving energy and resource efficiency of the company. The effect of the implementation of the measures is the reduction of energy consumption and the amount of CO2 emitted into the air, reducing the cost of 1 unit production, increasing demand for recycled raw materials and productivity of the enterprise. In addition, we will introduce and certification system for energy management / ESR / according to ISO Standard 50001, which will allow us to analyze, identify and implement measures aimed at increasing the energy efficiency of industrial facilities of the company, encompassing all energy flows now. The effect of the implementation of the measures will be greater than the sum of the individual effects of each measure. The project implementation is in line with our growth strategy focused on environmentally friendly production, increasing the amount of recycled raw materials used for production, improving the competitiveness of the company and creation of conditions for sustainable development. In the project we will implement activities and management of the project, selection of contractors, delivery of assets and services, visualization and promotion of the EU financial contribution, final reporting. The expected results of the project are measurable and will be reported to underlying indicators.
