Increasing energy efficiency in „MM GALVANIX" LTD

MM GALVANIX LTD was founded in 2008 with main activity: Galvanic coating of metallic and non-metallic products with black, colored, precious metals and precious stones. The manufacturing process in MM GALVANIX LTD includes a set of activities, aimed at carrying out chemical and electrochemical surface treatment of parts made of different metals and alloys - steel and cast iron, aluminum and aluminum alloys, aluminum alloy parts, copper and copper alloys, including zinc-aluminum-copper alloys. The company operates in the South Central Region of Planning: Dragor village. With the implementation of this project the company will introduce energy efficiency measures in order to achieve sustainable growth and competitiveness of the company. The measurements presented in this project come as a result of Energy efficiency audit of MM GALVANIX LTD. The main activities under this current project are: 1. Procurement of new manufacturing equipment – investments in energy efficiency measures, recommended after the performed Energy efficiency audit, as follows: Measurement 1: New line for phosphatazing and non-chromatic treatment; Measurement 2: New machining center; Measurement 3: New energy-efficient and high-volume erosion machine. 2. Development and implementation of energy management system in the enterprise. 3. Certification of the energy management system according to the requirements of ISO 50001 Standard. In the implementation of the entire project the required measures for publicity and information will be undertaken, according to the rules of Annex XII to Regulation(EU) № 1303/2013 and requirements described in the Operational Manual under the Grant scheme. The project will lead to expansion of the production capacity of MM GALVANIX LTD, significant energy savings and will improve the market position of the company.
