Energy efficiency in Muroll Bulgaria Ltd.

The main objective of the project is to increase the competitiveness of Muroll Bulgaria through a series of measures improving production's energy efficiency. The project envisages implementation of the following activities: 1. Acquisition of new equipment - Purchase of highly automated production line for adhesive tape and shredder for waste material. 2. Introduction of automated system for monitoring of the energy consumption. 3. Implementation and certification of energy management system in accordance with standard ISO 50001 - consultancy services for implementation of EMS and certification of EMS according to standard ISO 50001. In addition to the main project activities, auxiliary actions are envisaged for publicity and visualisation in accordance with requirements of the funding program. The result of the project is as follows: - Increased energy efficiency in Muroll Bulgaria; - A reduction in the energy intensity of the production process in Muroll Bulgaria; - Sustainable growth of the company and expand capacity. The project will be implemented in the priority program area of ​​northwestern Bulgaria, in addition Muroll Bulgaria carries out its economic activity in priority sector C17 - Manufacture of paper and paperboard and articles thereof. Finally, the project is fully consistent with the objectives of the procedure "Energy Efficiency for SMEs" as the project implementation will directly contribute to achieving sustainable growth and competitiveness through the implementation of energy efficiency measures.
