Increasing the energy efficiency in "Elinda-A" Ltd.

The main objective of the project is increasing the competitiveness of "Elinda-A" Ltd. and achieving sustainable growth by improving energy efficiency and capacity of the company.In the project will be implemented 11 energy saving measures, recommended in an energy audit, by introducing 7 new high productive and energy-effective sewing machines into operation, which will replace physically and morally obsolete equipment,which will lead to renewal and improvement of technology for energy-effective and efficient production and improved resource efficiency. By purchasing a new tank for collecting condensate will be utilized the residual heat from the production process. The implementation of activities - replacement the old lighting, wooden and metal window frames, industrial doors with new LED lighting, PVC window frames, industrial sectional doors and thermal isolating of the roof will increase the energy efficiency of the production building. In the project proposal are also provided activities for the implementation of energy management system, automated system for energy consumption monitoring and certification in accordance to ISO 50001 requirements, as well as publicity and visualization of the project. Suppliers of the long-term tangible and intangible assets and contractors of the planned construction works and consulting services will be determined after procedures for contractors selection according to actual requirements in the Act for management of EU Structural and Investment Funds resources and Decree of Council of Ministers № 160/01.07.2016. As a result of the project implementation is expected improvement of energy and resource efficiency in the enterprise, optimize energy consumption, implementing 284 433,43 kWh/y energy savings and saving 81,73 t/y CO2 emissions. The project will lead to a complex positive effect on overall activity, increasing the competitiveness and achieving of sustainable growth of the enterprise.
