"Increasing the energy efficiency of" polycarbonate "Ltd." by investing in new technological equipment

"Polycart" Ltd. operates in the sector of economic activity 17.23 - Production of stationery from paper and cardboard sector C17 "Production of paper, cardboard and articles thereof" and is characterized by high energy intensity. The Company's strategy is to grow, produce and supply packages of any type at the most competitive prices in the Balkans and in this regard is expected to expand production capacity in the existing business establishment in Burzia village, municipality Berkovitsa. The company plans to implement energy saving measures and activities aimed at achieving energy savings through renewal of production facilities with more energy efficient and improve technology manufacturing process. In this project provides for the following activities: 1. Acquisition of new production equipment under Measure 1) Machine for production of small labels on rolls for automated labeling systems; Measure 2) Wide format machines for packaging production of rolls; Measure 3) Machine finishing processes and formatting rolls for packaging and labels and measure 4) Machine for folding and gluing of packages., From energy audits; 2. Consultancy services for implementation and certification of standard BS EN ISO 50001; 3. Visualization and publicity of the project; 4. Perform an energy audit and preparation of energy audit. The aim of the planned investments on one hand, new construction machinery and equipment to enable the company to expand its operations, on the other hand to achieve a high standard of energy efficiency. Energy audit of the project shows that the average rate of energy savings provided input on the project machinery and equipment is 92.10%. Pending implementation of the project "Polycart" Ltd. provides higher profitability of operations, energy efficiency business and will contribute to increased competitiveness of the company.
