Increasing energy efficiency in PAUS Ltd

The project proposal will meet the needs of PAUS Ltd. for a more efficient energy production, which shall contribute to the economic stability of the company and will have a positive impact on the environmental protection. The main objective of the project is the following: Improving the energy efficiency of PAUS Ltd. in order to achieve sustainable growth and competitiveness of the enterprise. The project has been drafted in line with an energy auditing report (analysis of the energy efficiency). The following specific objectives have been laid out to enable the accomplishment of the main objective: 1. Investing in energy saving measures, including technological equipment upgrade and utilization of the residual heat resulting from the industrial processes. The objective will be achieved through fulfilling the measures recommended in the energy auditing report. Activities have been planned related to purchasing of new, modern printing systems, which have higher productive capacity and lower energy consumption, purchasing equipment that will enable the utilization of the residual heat for heating. 2. Optimization of the energy costs through monitoring and energy management (control) systems The following has been envisaged to support the accomplishment of the objective: - activities related to the purchase and installation of an automated energy consumption monitoring system - activities related to the implementation and certification of energy management according to internationally recognized(adopted) standards Expected results: 1. Realization (introduction)of an energy saving factor after the implementation of the energy efficiency measures laid out in the project -70,98% 2. reducing the green house gases emissions 3. Increased resource efficiency 4. Lower productions costs 5. Higher production capacity The results that would be achieved would improve the competitiveness of the enterprise and its contribution to environmental protection
