Achieving higher energy efficiency and increased production capacity in PRINCE Ltd.

The company PRINCE Ltd. was founded in 2007 in Gabrovo. The main activity of the company is production and sale of leather goods. The company has its own registered trademark "PRINCE since 1991". The collections of "PRINCE since 1991" brand cover lines of bags, belts and accessories with its own design. The enterprise has always aimed to be competitive on the market and to offer the highest quality of their products. With the implementation of the project PRINCE Ltd. aims to introduce energy efficiency measures that reduce the cost of unit production, and in the same time to expand its activities and diversify the product portfolio by increasing the production capacity and improving the resource efficiency and effectiveness. The projects plans to undertake the following activities: 1. Implementation of a package of energy saving measures: - ECM 1 " Implementation of modern, energy- efficient cutting machines" - 3 machines - ESM 2 " Implementation of modern, energy-efficient technological line for bonding details" - 14 machines - ESM 3 " Implementation of modern, energy-efficient technology line for sewing bags and wallets" - 14 machines - ESM 4 " Implementation of modern, energy-efficient technology line for sewing belts" - 7 machines - ECM 5 " Implementation of production line for details from residues" - 6 machines With the implementation of the package the company will achieve annual energy savings amounting to 77 615 kWh / y. and reduce greenhouse gas emissions of CO2 eq., amounted 63,6 t / y. 2. Implementation and certification of Energy Management System in accordance with standard BS EN ISO 50001 (Energy Management Systems) / EN ISO 50001 (Energy Management Systems). The application of this standard will help PRINCE Ltd. to carry out energy monitoring and systematic management of energy used in the overall activities of the enterprise.
