Increasing the energy efficiency in BULLTEC Ltd.

BULLTEK Ltd. was established in 2009 and owner of the company are Italian companies "Metaltek" and "Teknometal." BULLTEK Ltd. is a medium-sized enterprise with core business - Production of metal and plastic components as the company specializes in manufacturing plastic and metal components and their ensemble in electrical equipment for low and medium voltage. BULLTEK Ltd. strives not only to be the market leader in Bulgaria, but also to introduce the best modern technologies and practices as the hallmark of the company is the strive for a high level of quality and control at every stage of production, high qualification of personnel, innovation policy and environmental care. Preliminary analysis of the production process of BULLTEK in Plovdiv, its energy budget and growing energy needs of the forthcoming expansion of the production suggest setting, justification and implementation of measures primarily to reduce specific energy consumption per unit of production. In this connection, in the project proposal are included activities to replace part of the existing production equipment with new, characterized by lower specific energy consumption, as these activities are in implementation of energy efficiency measures, part of the Energy Audit approved by SEDA. With the commissioning of the new high-tech equipment for the processing of plastics the company will achieve greater productivity, lower specific energy consumption, high quality end product and minimized waste production. In connection with the application of this procedure is prepared report of an energy audit, which confirmed that the planned energy savings for the whole undertaking as a result of project implementation amounts to 22.75%.
