The overall objective of the project is to achieve sustainable growth and competitiveness of “THREE DE METAL” EOOD through implementation of energy efficiency measures. The implementation of the current project will increase energy, resource and environmental efficiency of the enterprise. This will be achieved through the implementation of the following activities: - replacement of physically and morally outdated production equipment (a set of welding machines and gadgets - 8pcs; bending machine for pipes - 1 pcs.); - providing systems for energy monitoring (1 pcs.) and implementation of energy management system according to standard ISO 50001; - implementing a system for recovery of residual heat (1 pc.) and commissioning of new sandblasting machine (1 pc.) for recycling of corroded metals; - energy efficient construction activities for production building (insulation of exterior walls, replacement of windows and lighting). The planned activities fully comply with the measures recommended as a result of the energy audit of the company. The investments in new energy efficient equipment and energy efficient construction works of the production building will contribute to significantly lower energy consumption per unit of production and greater productivity of the enterprise. Deploying ASEM will help to achieve accountability, opportunity analysis and making prompt and informed decisions in relation with the energy consumption. The implementation and certification of standard ISO 50001 will lead to systematic and sustainable management of energy consumption in the enterprise.
