"Implementation of energy saving technologies in Kastamonu Bulgaria AD in order to improve the competitiveness and achieve sustainable growth of the enterprise"

The following project proposal is aimed at improving the energy efficiency, attainment of sustainable growth and increasing the competitiveness of Kastamonu Bulgaria, by implementation of the following activity: Procurement of energy efficiency machinery ( measure 1 of the energy audit) – ( the activity will be implemented by purchasing of Grinding line – 1 pc.). The new Grinding line consisted of two broadband grinding machines will replace the existing depreciated, energy-intensive and inefficient machinery in stage 6 by the manufacturing process. This will provide a technological opportunity to process 70% more production, with nearly 50% less working hours. The implementation of this project, which is in compliance with the recommended measure 1 in energy audit, is fully in line with the energy efficiency strategy of Kastamonu Bulgaria, and the quantifiable results to be achieved are: Annual energy savings 5611104.67 kWh; Planned energy savings for the whole enterprise (PES): 16.01%; CO2 emission savings: 4595.49 t/year; Total non-energy savings BGN 44317.00 per year; Total energy savings of BGN 678943.67 per year. The planned activity will also contribute to: the significant expansion of the production capacity in Stage 6 Calibration and Grinding, with reduced energy consumption; Reduction of the generated unused scrapped chipboards through its recycling; Reduction of equipment requirements related to the necessary quantity compressed air and flow rate for the dust removed from the aspiration. As a result of all this will be improved the energy efficiency of the enterprise, ensuring sustainable development and competitiveness because at the same time the quantity of the manufactured products will be increased and will be reduced the negative impact on the environment.
