"Increasing Energy Efficiency in GLAVBOLGARSTROY AD"

The investments in the project are aimed at increasing the energy efficiency of the enterprise in order to achieve sustainable growth and competitiveness. The project will carry out initial investments in tangible assets related to the expansion of the capacity of an existing economic site for the production of concrete mixtures. Activities are consistent with the recommendations of the report following an energy audit of an industrial system within the enterprise. Delivery and commissioning of a production line for concrete mixes is planned.  In order to increase energy efficiency, the ISO 50001: 2011 Energy Management System will be implemented and certified at the production site. The project will introduce into operation a waste energy recovery system.  The expected results of the support are expressed in the improvement of the energy efficiency in the final energy consumption of GLABBOLGARSTROY AD, which in turn will lead to capacity building and to achieve more sustainable growth, both at the level of an individual production enterprise, so And the economy as a whole. Expected energy savings as a result of the implementation of the project are in the range of 9602742,84 kWh / yr. Planned energy savings for the entire enterprise are 56.21%. The plant will expand the capacity of an existing business site for the production of concrete mixes by 55,00 m3 / hour. The objectives and the expected results are in line with the corporate policy that the enterprise follows in its overall activity as one of the largest employers in the region. The project is a significant contribution to reducing unit production costs, introducing and developing environmentally-friendly production, and achieving a more sustainable and more efficient enterprise in the long run.
