Increasing the energy efficiency of ZMM Stomana JSCo

The project is aimed at expanding the activity of ZMM Stomana AD and reducing the energy consumption of the production processes by purchasing new equipment, which to increase its production capacities and to improve its energy efficiency. The project aims at introducing high-efficient, energy-saving machines to expand the production of woodworking machines. The new machines will significantly reduce the production time due to significantly higher production performance. They will allow to produce more output in a shorter time and with lower energy consumption, leading to an expansion of the production volume of the company's core products. For the realization of its plans, the company plans to replace the old energy inefficient existing equipment, which ZMM Stomana AD uses with new high-tech and energy-efficient equipment for production of details. Specifically, the company intends to purchase and bring into operation the following high-tech equipment: - CNC Double Column Milling Centre - 1 pc. - 5-axis machine center - 6 pcs. - Mixing system for the preparation of sand-bentonite mixture based on vacuum intensive mixer - 1 pc. - Molding machine - 1 pc. - System for waste heat recovery - 1 pc. The project also envisages the introduction of an ISO 50001 energy management system for more efficient management of the energy flows in the enterprise. All measures foreseen for implementation under the project are stemming from an energy audit. In addition, the project envisages the mandatory visualization and financial audit activities.
