Improving the energy efficiency of Walltopia JSc

This project proposal is aimed at improving the energy efficiency and increasing the production capacity of Walltopia JSC, through the purchase, commissioning and replacement of old equipment with new metalworking machines. In the section "Metalworking" of the company, all the necessary details for the construction of the supporting metal structure of the climbing walls are made so the code of the projects is 32.30. The raw materials for making the details of the metal structure are various types of metals such as steel, aluminum and brass and their alloys, and others such as pipes, profiles or metal sheets. The project covers the purchase of machines for all major metalworking operations in the company, namely: shot blasting machine- 1pc., abcant press-1pc., presses- 2pcs., bending machine - 1pc., band saws- 1st type- 1pc., band saws- 2nd type –5pcs., lathes –2pcs., milling machines- 2pcs., welding machines- 10pcs., cabins for water curtain coatings - 4pcs., cantilevel cranes – 15pcs., forklifts - 6pcs., bridge cranes - 2pcs., compressors - 2pcs. The plant ensures the heating of the production areas and the administrative unit through hot water boilers working on solid fuel (coal). Through this project, waste heat from the flue gases from the steamers will be utilized through an air/water reclamation system. The investment involves introducing and certifying by ISO 50001 standard and purchasing and implementing a system for monitoring and control of the energy consumption. It is expected that the introduction of this standard in combination with a monitoring and control system for the energy consumption will lead to a reduction in energy costs, greenhouse gas emissions and other environmental impacts through systematic energy management. After project implementation, the following energy savings are expected to be achieved, planned energy savings=69,44%, and CO2 savings in the amount of 874,50 tons per year, also effectiveness of the investment is 1,03 kWh/lv.
