Increasing energy efficiency in Rodopi Eko Prodjekts EOOD

The purpose of this project proposal is to increase the energy efficiency and production capacity of Rodopi Eco Projects Ltd. by replacing the production equipment of the company, which is obsolete and highly energy-intensive. It is planned to replace the old equipment with a new one, distinguished by significantly improved performance and low power consumption. The planned replacement is in exchange for a filtration plant related to the main activity of the enterprise. Within the framework of the project proposal is also envisaged the construction of a waste heat recovery system, the introduction of an automated system for monitoring and control of the energy consumption, as well as the implementation of ISO 50001 standard. As a result of the implementation of these measures, the volume of energy consumed and that of the generated harmful carbon emissions from the production will be reduced, thus helping to protect the environment and improve the competitiveness of the company. The planned energy savings for the plant as a result of the project implementation (PES) will be 34.78% or 2298728 kWh/year, and the investment's efficiency as a ratio of the amount of energy saved in kWh. annually to the required investment in BGN (kWh/BGN) will be 0.81 kWh / lv. with saved carbon dioxide emissions of 1883 t/yr.
