Increasing the Energy Efficiency of „BARTER” EOOD

Proposed action is focused on the implementation of investments towards increasing the energy efficiency of “BARTER” EOOD through the execution of seven energy efficiency measures proposed by the study on energy efficiency of the production establishment of the company, based in Sevlievo. The applicant’s main activity includes the construction of residential and nonresidential buildings as the total quantity of energy consumed to provide the manufacturing process (for the year taken as representative – 2015) is estimated to 7 180 966,52 kWh/y. With view of reducing the energy intensiveness of the company’s activity, optimizing the production costs and increasing the economic effectiveness of the activity, we plan under this project to implement the following energy efficient measures outlined as particular recommendations from the study made on energy efficiency of the company’s production base: Measures (activities) under Element A of the procedure: - Measure 1: Purchase and placing in service of two new cement mixers; - Measure 2: Purchase and placing in service of a new crane on chassis; - Measure 3: Purchase and placing in service of a new concrete pump; - Measure 4: Purchase and placing in service of 8 new tractors; - Measure 5: Purchase and placing in service of 4 new diesel motorcars and one new electric truck. Measures (activities) under Element B of the procedure: - Measure 7: Reducing the energy costs through introduction of automatic system for monitoring and control of energy consumption. Activities under Element B also include the introduction and certification of Energy Management System EN ISO 50001.
