Expanding the production capacity of "IPO" Ltd. through the introduction of energy efficient production equipment

IPO Ltd. is a production company producing high quality single pieces, small and medium series of ferrous and non-ferrous metal parts with rough or final machining, which are widely used in machines and equipment in the general machine building, mining, construction, power engineering, agriculture, shipbuilding and ship repair, transport, etc. industries. The production base of the company is located in Karlovo. This project envisages activities leading to the expansion of production capacity and energy efficiency improvement in the "Manufacture unit of foundry molds and foundry molds (Mixing and molding)" and reduction of the unit cost of the company in order to increase the energy efficiency, the competitiveness of the plant. The project achieves lower levels of production costs in foundry molds and to reduce CO2 emissions into the atmosphere by introduction of a Production line for foundry molds with a higher capacity than existing, as well as the introduction of a system for energy monitoring and investment for implementation and certification under EN / ISO 50001, in order to manage the energy characteristics, control and reduce the energy consumption in the company. The applicant has commissioned an energy audit in accordance with the funding program and its investment intentions. The project will be implemented through the following eligible activities under this procedure: ➢ Replacement of an old plant for the production of foundry molds with a new Production ine for foundry molds. ➢ Reduce energy costs by introducing automated systems for energy consumption monitoring - 1 pc. ➢ Consultancy services for the introduction and certification of an energy management system according to the requirements of EN ISO 50001. ➢ Publicity and visualization of the project.
