Improving energy efficiency of Steka Elektronik Bulgaria EOOD

The aim of the current project proposal is to increase the energy efficiency and production capacity of Steka Elektronik Bulgaria EOOD by replacement part of its old, obsolete and highly energy intensive production equipment, installation of recuperation ventilation chamber for waste heat recovery and implementation of an automated system for motoring and control of electric consumption (incl. hardware and software part). The activities envisaged in the project will be carried out under the Code of economic activity 27.90 "Manufacture of other electrical equipment". The planned investment includes purchase of the following new equipment: 2 pcs. placement stations, 1 pc. soldering furnace, 1 pc. recuperation ventilation chamber and automated system for energy consumption monitoring and control (consisting of hardware and software). Within the framework of the project proposal, the implementation of the ISO 50001 standard as well as its subsequent certification is envisaged. As a result of the implementation of these measures, the production capacity will be increased, energy consumption and carbon emissions from the production will be reduced whereas environment will be better protected and the competitiveness of the company will be improved. Planned energy savings for the enterprise (a result of the project implementation) are calculated at 81,5%. The efficiency of the investment as a ratio of the amount of energy saved in kWh on an yearly basis, compared to the required investment in BGN (kWh/BGN), are expected to be 1,531 with energy savings equal to 3537 MWh and saved carbon dioxide emissions in the amount of 2691,7 tons per year.
