Increasing energy efficiency in Montupet EOOD

Montupet Ltd. started manufacturing cylinder heads for automobile engines in 2008 with a new plant in Ruse, which received certificate for first class investment of BAI. Currently the enterprise has three production halls that produce cylinder heads for world-renowned automotive constructors: AUDI, BMW, Porsche, RENAULT, FORD, VOLVO. The Bulgarian company is 100% owned by the world leader in the sector Montupet SA. Since the beginning of 2017, Montupet Ltd. is part of the Canadian LINAMAR Group, founded in 1966, based in Ontario, Canada. The economic activity for which Montupet is declaring support for the project is in sector C "Manufacturing", NACE 29.32 "Manufacture of other parts and accessories for motor vehicles". Audit measures for which are requested project investments are within the same code. The project includes activities that fully meet the recommended measures in an audit report, prepared for the purposes of the procedure: Under Element A - Acquisition of 6 5-axis CNC machines (Measure 1); Under Element B: - activity for recovery of waste energy (Measure 2) - activity for construction of an automated system for monitoring and control of the energy consumption (Measure 3); As a result of the implementation of the requested investments: - The process will take place with a significantly lower energy consumption and with a higher resource efficiency; - There will be a decrease in the specific expenditure and specific energy consumption per unit of output; - The capacity for mechanical machining of heads will increase more than 2 times, which will, on the other hand, lead to prevention of the stop and stay of other processes, reduction in the unit production time and increase the production capacity of the enterprise; With the implementation of the project, the enterprise will reduce the costs of its products and increase its production capacity, which will lead to improved competitiveness.
