Energy efficiency in Kalinel Ltd.

The overall objective of the project is to increase the competitiveness of Kalinel Ltd. By optimizing the production and reducing energy consumption by implementing energy efficiency measures and introducing systems for energy monitoring and energy management. The specific objectives of the project are: • To increase energy efficiency in the enterprise by introducing energy efficiency measures; • Increase the production capacity of the enterprise by introducing new high performance and energy efficient technological equipment for the main production processes; • Optimizing the technological process and improving the efficiency of production by introducing a new energy efficient recycling equipment; • To increase the profit through energy and non-energy savings as a result of the introduction of high-efficiency energy efficient equipment; • Increasing revenue by increasing production capacity and sales on domestic and foreign markets as a result of increased production capacity and improved image and confidence in the company's customers. The project envisages the implementation of 6 measures to improve the energy efficiency of the company and the introduction of an energy management system according to ISO 50 001. The project also includes auditing and visualization and publicity activities. By performing these activities, the following objectives and results will be achieved: -Energy savings for the whole enterprise by 50.31% - Reduced electricity consumption by 7,862,861 kWh on an annual basis; -Saved CO2 emissions -5950,1t / y - Decreasing the amount of waste for landfilling; - Reduced production costs; - Increased production capacity and sales revenue; -Approved market positions of the company.
