Increasing the Energy Efficiency of Top Man Ltd for Sustainable Business Development

The company Top Man Ltd. was established in 2003 in Russe. The company specializes in the production of men’s clothing. The project’s overall aim is enhancing competitiveness and creating prerequisites for the sustainable development of Top Man Ltd. through enhancing the energy efficiency and expanding the company’s production capacity. In order to achieve the above stated aim, as part of the project “Increasing the Energy Efficiency of Top Man Ltd for Sustainable Business Development”, the following activities will be implemented: -increasing the energy and resource efficiency through purchasing and commissioning a new production line of the highest energy class; -implementation and certification of an energy management system in accordance with the requirements of BSS EN ISO 50001:2011 -provision of visualization and publicity of the project activities The implementation of these activities will result in the following outcomes for Top Man Ltd.: -purchasing and commissioning a highly-productive production line of the highest energy class and enhanced energy efficiency at Top Man Ltd. - implemented and certified energy management system in accordance with BSS EN ISO 50001:2011 -enhanced productivity and production capacity at Top Man Ltd.: -reduced production costs, resp. technological costs per unit produced -generated annual energy savings of 7599 082 kWh/unit -reduced CO2 emissions of 1 962,076 tonnes/year -reduced energy intensity of the production -achieved more rational resource use in view of environmental protection -increased energy and resource efficiency -enhanced quality of the products In view of the positive effects described above, this project proposal will be the major instrument for enhancing the competitiveness of Top Man Ltd. on the Bulgarian and international markets.
