Improving the energy efficiency at Extrapack OOD

Extrapack OOD was established in 1995 .The main purpose of the company is to produce bags and packaging . In its activities Extrapack OOD constantly strives to improve the resource efficiency of the production processes, including energy efficiency. For this purpose a certified energy auditor performed an energy audit of the existing equipment and identified a measure that lead to increased energy savings in the production process. This project proposal is aimed at implementation of these measures, and this determines the Project OBJECTIVE: Achieving sustainability and competitiveness of Extrapack OOD by implementing measures for energy efficiency. The MAIN ACTIVITIES for the achievement of the project objectives are: 1. Acquisition of machines, equipment and softwear, representing tangible fixed assets necessary for the implementation of measures included in the energy audit 2. Publicity and visualization 3. Project audit The results of the project will be in several areas: 1. Enhanced Energy Efficiency through; - delivered 5 pcs. energy-efficient machines, leading to better energy efficiency of Extrapack OOD - recuperation of waste heat; - implementation of modern lighting fixtures; - Implementation of an automated system for monitoring and control of the energy consumption. 2. Implementation of the following energy savings: - Annual energy savings:5,499,194kWh / yr. - Planned energy savings for the whole plant: 32.5% 3. Competitiveness of the enterprise will grow as a result of the project.
