Promoting the awareness and capacity of bulgarian enterprises to implement energy efficiency activities and measures and creating a business model to support the energy savings obligations scheme and the activities related to it.

As a result of the implementation of the envisaged activities under this project, a positive effect is expected to build on the capacity to implement EE measures and assess their results, to plan and implement more effectively the specific EE and RES policies, increase the interest of end-users of the support for EE and RES measures and raising the level of citizens' awareness, which will help to achieve sustainable energy development. Project target groups are: Enterprises, incl. SMEs; Entities performing energy efficiency auditing activities; Municipal, district administrations; Ministries tied to policies on energy efficiency and mitigation of climate impacts; SEDA; Citizens; Energy managers of obligated entities under the Energy Efficiency Act and companies outside the scope of the Energy Efficiency Act. Activities: Development of Methodological guidelines for conducting energy efficiency audits of enterprises, incl. SMEs; Conducting training seminars of energy consultants from the register under Art. 60 of the Energy Efficiency Act and of representatives of the enterprises including SMEs according to the Methodological guidelines; Organizing and conducting trainings for energy managers in energy efficiency management and BSS EN ISO 0001 in industrial enterprises, incl. SMEs; Development of ESCO contract for provision of energy-efficient services in industrial enterprises incl. SMEs; Organizing and conducting information campaigns to promote the implementation of the ESCO mechanism, the effect and benefits of increasing energy efficiency in industrial enterprises. Market Opportunities for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Sources, as well as the benefits of obtaining energy savings certificates; Integration of existing IT systems in the SEDA on a common platform. Development of new functionalities and upgrade of existing ones incl. building a helpdesk ("Help Desk"); Acquisition of tangible fixed assets necessary for the purposes of the project.
