Resource efficiency in Interior 46 Design EOOD

INTERIOR 46 DESIGN Ltd. is a furniture enterprise from Rousse and is applying for a project for increasing resource efficiency. The company envisages the introduction of a new technology pilot for Bulgaria, which is a production innovation. The project leads to improvement of the resource efficiency of the applicant enterprise, has a positive effect on environmental protection and is based on a resource efficiency audit. The implementation of the project envisages the demonstration of the implemented technology to other enterprises in the industry and has the potential to multiply the results. The implementation of the project envisages the implementation of technological and ICT solutions and methods for optimization of production processes, reduction of used raw materials and waste generated in the existing production. The project concerns one of the specific waste streams, reduces the use of hazardous chemicals, the amount of emissions into the atmosphere and will be carried out around the Natura 2000 sites and as a result will have a positive effect on the protection of the environment. INTERIOR 46 DESIGN LTD applies for the procedure on its own.Activities are planned for putting into operation of DMA - Line for automated production with a unified control system and automatic communication between machines, conducting 2 events and publications in traditional and digital media for multiplication of results, visualization of the project. Prior to applying for the procedure, a resource efficiency audit was carried out for the enterprise, which plans a payback period of 5.95, a cost effectiveness of 16.02%, a reduction in raw materials and materials of 1.86% and a reduction in waste generated by 46,84%.
