IFO DESIGN LTD was founded in the beginning of the 1990s and has gained the trust of some of the biggest Bulgarian and foreign companies, publishing houses, advertising agencies, pharmaceutical companies, banks, state institutions and others. The main activity of the company is under code 18.12 Printing of other publications and printed products and IFO DESIGN LTD specializes in offset printing and a set of finishing operations necessary for the complete manufacture of the products. The objectives of the present project are to expand the capacity of IFO DESIGN's production base and to achieve a more sustainable business model and environmental friendliness both for the company and for the printing services sector in Bulgaria. This will be achieved by investing in 3 types of high-tech equipment for finishing operations. The planned production equipment will incorporate pilot technologies for our market, which will implement an innovative production method. Activities to multiply the effect are also planned and they will be achieved by organizing events that will present the used technologies, the production model and the benefits of their deployment for the individual enterprises, the whole market and for the achievement of a more sustainable economy. The expected results from the implementation of the IfoDemoTech project and according to the prepared technological audit and economic evaluation are: - an average reduction of inputs used in the production of more than 35%; - reduce the use of dangerous chemicals by more than 36%; - surceasing the formation of more than 22% of the waste generated in the production process; - increasing cost efficiency by more than 16%; - expanding the production capacity of polygraphic products; - a time limit for buyback the investment below 6 years. These results will reduce the cost of production and will increase the competitiveness of the enterprise.
