Improving the resource efficiency of Touriststroy - Tsaratsovo LLC, by introducing a process innovation in the production of metal products

Turiststroy-Tsaratsovo LLC is a modern production company with main activity: manufacture of metal products and structures. In line with its plans for increasing its resource efficiency and expanding its capacity, the company plans to implement a process innovation in the production of metal products and structures by introducing 3-coordinate (3D) software programmable cutting of metal sheets, tubes and profiles through an automatic laser portal machine. In the framework of the project for the implementation of innovation, Touriststroy-Tsaratsovo LLC envisages the following activities: 1) Performance of emission measurements in wastewater by an accredited laboratory (performed before the project submission); 2) Performing a resource efficiency audit (performed before the project submission) 3) Supply of automatic laser portal machine for 3D cutting of metal sheets and tubes 4) Carry out an event to multiply the results of the project 5) Publications in traditional and digital media for the project 6) Project visualisation The innovative technological solution implemented under the project has a synergic effect on improving the resource efficiency of Turiststroy-Tsaratsovo's production while at the same time reducing the consumption of raw materials and materials, incl. DCS and waste generated in the production of a unit of production as well as the emissions into the production wastewater. From a production and technological point of view, the introduction of the new automatic laser machine will lead to an increase of the production capacity and overall increase of the efficiency of the production activity of the company. With the implementation of the project, the company will significantly improve its technological, economic and environmental activities, which will ensure a sustainable increase in its competitiveness.
