Resource Efectiveness

The aims of the project proposal are to increase the resource efficiency of the applicant (beneficiary) by applying for new solutions, techniques and methods for the efficient use of the raw materials, incl. water, and preventing the creation and / or utilization of existing construction waste by incorporating it into the concrete production. The Resource Efficiency Project aims to improve awareness of the effective use of raw materials, incl. water, and the successful utilization of construction waste, improving the efficiency of production processes in the concrete production, reducing the cost of production and increasing the competitiveness of the producers. The following activities are to be implemented: A1: Performing a resource audit (at the time of applying it was done) A2: Visualization. A3- 4 : Multiplication of project results. A5-7: Implementing techological solutions. The total value of the project is BGN 1 038 031. Location is BG, South Central Region, city Karlovo, nunicipality Karlovo, region Plovdiv. The expected results of the Project are the implementation of a resource efficiency initiative, incl. water, improving awareness of resource efficiency in the field of concrete production, improving the efficiency of production processes, reducing cost of production and increasing their competitiveness. Specific additional benefits that the project will achieve are: • Increase in sales revenue due to increased production capacity. • Reduction of cost and production cost per unit of production, not as a whole. • Environmental protection (the site of implementation of the project is the town of Karlovo, whose land is within the Natura 2000 network). • Implementation of horizontal EU policies - equality and non-discrimination and sustainable development.
