Sustainable development and economic growth through the implementation of new technology increasing resource efficiency in "Sistemno integrirane" EOOD

"Sistemno integrirane" EOOD is a manufacturer of a wide range of details and components for hydraulic products and systems. The main raw material used is steel (automated type) and currently for the production of a large part of its products the plant has a machine park that does not meet modern standards of resource efficiency and environmental friendliness. At the same time, outdated technologies and methods of mechanical processing are the reason for the untapped market potential, the inability of the company to respond to customers' demand and the generation of too much industrial waste. In order to streamline and optimize key production processes that play a major role in resource efficiency and productivity of the enterprise, two pilot for the country innovative technologies will be implemented through the implementation of this project: an integrated, digitally managed automated process for mechanical processing of details, executed in Industry 4.0 environment, and an innovative technology for dosing, glue application and assembling parts with the highest level of process automation and sensors scanning the profile of the details. For this purpose, within the project will be purchased a Smart Manufacturing Cell based on the latest generation of equipment with innovative features combined with a wide range of software functionalities linked in a "digital factory" type system, and a Precise assembling and glue dosing machine, with integrated machine vision for determining the profile of the workpiece. The new technologies will contribute to the reduction of the raw materials used and the industrial waste generated in "Sistemno integrirane" EOOD, thus achieving higher levels of resource efficiency and environmental friendliness with improved production capabilities. At the same, measures will be executed to promote the implemented innovations in order to multiply them in other enterprises of the Bulgarian industry.
