Antares Ltd. is a company developing with main activity trade in and manufacturing of painting tools. In relation with its plans for increasing its resource efficiency and expanding its capacity, the company plans to implement process innovation in the production of its product range of paint rollers, which is a pilot action for Bulgaria. In the framework of the project for the implementation of innovation, Antares Ltd. envisages the following activities: 1) Performance of emission measurements in wastewater by an accredited laboratory (performed before the project submission) 2) Performing a resource efficiency audit (performed before the project submission) 3) Supply of injection machines (8 pcs.) with complete cooling unit (1 pc.) 4) Supply of heat-sealing machines (6 pcs.) with compressor compressor for compressed air supply (1 pc.) 5) Conduct an event to multiply the results of the project 6) Publications in traditional and digital media for the project 7) Project visualisation The innovative, integrated technological solution for improving the resource efficiency in the production of painting tools, which Antares Ltd. plans to implement under this project, has as its effect the reduction of the raw materials for production of a unit of product, reduction of the waste per unit of finished product, of the water used in the production process, elimination of the use of dangerous chemical substances during production, and an increase in the performance of the final product. From manufacturing and technological perspective, the introduction of the new equipment will lead to an increase of the production capacity and overall increase of the efficiency of the production activity of the company.After the implementation of the project the company will significantly improve its technological, economic and environmental activities, which will ensure a sustainable increase in its competitiveness.
