Improving the the resource efficiency of Kofrazhna Tehnika AD by introducing a complex process innovation in the production of shuttering elements and metal structures for the construction industry

Kofrazhna Tehnika AD is a modern production company with the main activity manufacturing of shuttering elements and metal structures for the construction industry. With regard to its plans to increase its resource efficiency and expand its capacity, the company plans to implement a project aimed at the introducing a complex process innovation in the production of shuttering elements and metal structures, which is a pilot for Bulgaria. The project envisages the purchase and commissioning of three functionally connected machines which innovate processes at different stages of production. Under the project the company plans to carry out the following activities: 1) Emission measurement of wastewater emissions by an accredited laboratory (performed before project submission) 2) Performing a resource efficiency audit (performed before project submission) 3) Supply of fiber laser machine and air screw compressor 4) Supply of a high pressure paint system 5) Conducting an event to multiply the results of the project 6) Publications in traditional and digital media for the project 7) Project visualization The complex character of the innovative technological solution to be implemented will have a synergistic effect on improving the resource efficiency of production, while at the same time reducing the consumption of raw materials and materials, DCS and waste generated in the production by unit of production, as well as a significant reduction of the use of fresh water for production purposes and of harmful emissions in the production wastewater. From a manufacturing and technological point of view, the introduction of the new technological equipment will lead to an increase of the production capacity and overall increase of the efficiency of the production activity of the company. The implementation of the project will significantly improve its activity in technological, economic and environmental aspects and ensure a sustainable increase in its competitiveness.
