Improving resource efficiency at „HELPI PLASTICS“ LTD.

The current project will be implemented by HELFI PLASTICS Ltd., a company specialized in the production of plastic packaging. The company is the only manufacturer of 19 liter gallons of polycarbonate for water in Bulgaria. The project envisages the implementation of activities to improve the efficiency of resource management and increase the capacity of the enterprise: 1. Acquisition and implementation in the production process of a Single-stroke blower for polycarbonate bottles production - 1 item; The specific measure is based on the results of an Enterprise Resource Efficiency Audit. The implementation of the project and the envisaged measure will lead to: * Saving 30% of fresh raw material in the production of polycarbonate gallons by replacing it with recycled; * Increase of the production capacity of the target product by 60% compared to the base year 2016g. * Prevent the formation of 100% of waste in the production of gallons; Within the framework of the project activities are foreseen for: Element A "Implementation": * Activities for the implementation of a completely innovative technology for polycarbonate gallon production in Bulgaria by the use of recycled material - choice of supplier and delivery of the equipment. Element B "Other investments, services and results multiplier": * Developing a resource efficiency audit; * Publications in traditional and digital media to multiply the results of the project; * Publicity and visualization. The total value of the project is 2 178 340.38 BGN, excluding VAT. The planned duration is 20 months.
