This project proposal aims improving the resource efficiency of Emkom Bulgaria Ltd., through the implementation of innovative technology for assembling parquet floors type "click" system, by realization the following measures: 1.Preparation of resource efficiency audit of the project; 2. Purchase of Profiling Machine for Click System; 3.Purchase of Cutting Package circular; 4.Purchase of Calibration line of technological waste of plywood; 5. Purchase of license to use a patent for profiling parquet with a click system; 6.Organizing and conducting an event to multiply the results of the project. Implementation of this project, which is in fulfilment of the resource efficiency audit is in full compliance with the Emkom Bulgaria’s strategy for resource efficiency, as quantifiable results that will be achieved are: Improving production efficiency costs: 16.33%; Reduction of the raw materials used in the production per unit after the project execution: -23,27%; Implementation of process innovation for profiling of parquet flooring, pilot for Bulgaria; The prevention of waste of paper packaging; Reduce the amount of waste from production; Reduce the quantity of water used in production; Switching the waste of plywood to a "recycling" degree by waste hierarchy; Increasing the quantity of manufactured products; Reducing the use of dangerous chemical substances in the production of tri-layer parquet; Reducing harmful effects of the activities of Emkom Bulgaria on the environment. The innovative profiling technology implemented under the project will be a pilot project for Bulgaria and the results of the implementation of the activities will be distributed among the companies operating in the field of natural parquet production. Multiplying the positive effect will also help other companies increase their resource efficiency and hence the efficiency of the economy as a whole.
