Implementation of pilot and demonstration initiatives for resource efficiency in Instal Engineering SV Ltd.

The project is aimed at realizing investments for increasing the resource efficiency of "Instal Engeneering SV" Ltd and implementation of technological solutions and methods, pilot for Bulgaria, representing production innovation.
The implementation of the present project will increase the resource efficiency of the main company activity "Production of sheets, tile, pipes and profiles of plastic" (code 22.21 of NACE 2008), as well will expand the capacity of the company's business premises in Branipole. The project is based on activities included in the Audit of Resource Efficiency and also on emission indicators’ measurements conducted from an accredited laboratory at the company's production base in Branipole, the implementation of two pilot technological solutions: Implementation of a technological solution and method for optimizing the product manufacturing process of product: Connecting isolated parts of polyethylene and reducing the resources used and the waste generated in existing production by investing in Machine for Hot Pipe Bending and implementation of modern technology that allows the recycling of waste from the products’ manufacture of the company and use of waste as a raw material in an existing production through investment in Parallel Twin Screw Pelletizing Machine line and Line for Granulating Polymers. A demonstration by organizing 2 public events and publishing in traditional media will be carried out and will show the effect on the introduction of the pilot technologies with a focus on encouraging other companies to introduce such resource-efficient solutions. An activity of Project visualization is foreseen. The project results will be:
 - Increased resource efficiency
 - Reduced quantity of raw materials used in the production of company’s products per unit 
- More efficient waste management
 - Reduced quantity of used of dangerous chemicals, specific waste, quantity of emissions.
