The project proposal focuses on the implementation of a pilot innovative resource-efficient technology in an enterprise specializing in hygienic products for incontinence made of cellulose with polyethylene and polypropylene content. The prdoduction facility is based in the city of Cherven Bryag. The project envisages measures for implementation of technology for industrial symbiosis within the company: the waste of the current production will be used as raw material for new production. By putting into operation the planned assets the whole generated production waste will be recycled to new products: 1) polyethylene and polypropylene granulate 2) pure polyethylene granulate 3) cellulose pulp. These measures will achieve the following effects: 1 / Achieving of better waste management level, according to Art. 6 of the Waste Management Act; 1 / Improving the resource efficiency of the production process; 2 / Reduction of production costs; 3 / Diversification of production; 4 / Increasing the financial results of the company; 5 / Achieving sustainable development by reducing environmental impact.
