Implementation of a pilot resource-efficient method for the production of an innovative product in BALKANKAR-ZARYA

BALKANCAR ZARYA AD is a manufacturer of steel wheels, and enjoys excellent international reputation. In its effort to continually improve its resource efficiency, the company underwent a technology audit, the result of which is a report with targeted activities on resource efficiency and waste prevention. This project proposal is aimed at implementation of these activities, and this determines the Project OBJECTIVE: Increasing the resource efficiency at BALKANCAR ZARYA AD by implementing the pilot technological solution and introducing an innovative product. The MAIN ACTIVITIES for the achievement of the project objectives are: - Acquisition of 42 pcs. modern, efficient machines representing tangible fixed assets necessary for the implementation of the activities included in the technology audit. - Organizing and conducting events to multiply the results of the project - Publications in traditional and digital media to multiply the results of the project. The results of the project will be in several areas: 1. Delivered 42 pcs. modern efficient machinery leading to expanding the production capacity of BALKANCAR ZARYA AD and an implementation of a innovative product. 2. Improving resource efficiency through: - Reduction in the amount of raw materials used in unit production after the project execution - 14,90% -preventing the generation of technological waste- 55.06% -production in the amount of hazardous chemical (Dietalonone) used in the production after project implementation - 8,86% 3. Competitiveness of the enterprise will grow as a result of the project, the investment project will have the following estimated figures: - Increasing the efficiency of the production cost - 16,73% - Payback period of investment: 5,94 years
