Technical assistance for preparatory activities until the begining of construction of Bulgaria - Serbia gas interconnection

The project proposal "Technical assistance for preparatory activities until the beginning of construction of Bulgaria - Serbia gas interconnection" aims at finalizing all activities for obtaining Building Permit for the realization of the project for the construction of gas interconnection Bulgaria - Serbia. The activities included in the project proposal are: preparation of a cost-benefit analysis, development of a model for management and maintenance of the gas infrastructure and selection of operator of the facility; providing access for field archaeological research for the purpose of carrying out/completing them; assessment of damages and payment of compensation to owners/tenants of properties falling under the easement of the pipeline route; implementation, coordination and approval of amendments to the Detailed Development Plan - Parcel Plan (DDP-PP) and the Technical Project; updating the Register of property owners along the pipeline route; elaboration, coordination and approval of investment project - phase Detailed design; acquisition of property rights - ownership, easements, right of passage and other rights over foreign properties required for the execution of the project; issuance / acquisition of permit documents required by national legislation necessary for obtaining the building permit. The expected final result of the implementation of the envisaged activities is obtaining a Building permit for the construction of gas interconnection Bulgaria - Serbia, which will provide alternative sources of natural gas at national level, accompanied by diversification of transmission routes, will significantly increase the security of supply for the country , which will create prerequisites and opportunities to meet the expected increase in demand and consumption of natural gas, while allowing for the expansion of the national gas network.
