Translation and consultation during the procedure for granting international protection

The project was developed in response to the need of verbal and written translation and consultations to be provided to the asylum seekers, during the procedure for granting international protection. Since the asylum seekers rarely speak a language other than their native, the initial registration, the interviews and information gathering depend on the available translation, especially in cases with rare languages. The actions envisaged include selection and employment of professional interpreters, who will provide two-way written and verbal translation for the asylum seekers. Among the goals of the project is the creation of pool of interpreters available for SAR with CM on demand, which will greatly increase the efficiency of the procedure for granting international protection. On the other hand, that will increase the options that will be available for the persons who received international protection, thanks to their options for receiving information.
