"Together for Integration"

The project propsal aims at providing integration services and complex integration support, which will lead to the successful integration of third country nationals (TCNs) in the Bulgarian society. Additionally, the project aims to use the skills and potential of TCNs for the improvement of the socio-economic development of the host country. A set of measure, using the the capacity of the local authorities, for the the successful integration and building of partnership between the municipalities and representatives of the non-profit sector that have proven experience in integration and adaptation of TCNs. Measures, envisaged in the project include housing support, facilitating the access to employment, social and healthcare services, Bulgarian language learning, different administrative consultations, raising awareness among TCNs on their rights and obligations, socio-cultural orientation aiming at informing TCNs on the culture and traditions of the host society. Additionally, sports-cultural events with the participation of TCNs and representatives of the host society to be organised as a way to encourage the multicultural dialogue and tolerance. To enhance the capacity of the reprsentatives of the local authorities and institutions working with TCNs, the project provides for the organisation of events, aiming to share the good practices in working with TCNs, the specifics and their cultural and national background. As a good practice, used for numerous years by the applicant, the project implementation team includes successfully integrated third country nationals.
