Delivery of remote controlled flight systems for border control at the state border

With the implementation of the project, the following will be achieved: 1.Delivery of a minimum of 5 (five) remote controlled flight systems for the needs of border control at the state border. Each of which consists of two or more Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) with vertical take-off and landing, equipped with a stabilized surveillance system, a flight management system, a video transmission communication system to ground flight control station. It is envisaged a storage system for collected video information for the needs of border control at the state border. A dedicated off-road car is also envisaged for the transportation of each UAVs. 2. Conducting practical training courses for the delivered remote controlled flight systems. 3. Insurance of the delivered remote controlled flight systems for the period of warranty maintenance. The implementation of the project will enhance the technical capacity of CDBP. It will help integrated border management for increasing security of the borders of the Republic of Bulgaria and the EU, which will enhance the effectiveness of countering the illegal migration. The usage of remote controlled flight systems will improve the quality of work of specialized tactical units and their ability to locate potential offenders, track their movement, determine the number of groups and neutralize them.
