The project for the Bulgarian police and customs contact centers (PCCCs) is focusing on that, these centers to become an additional tool, mechanism, channel for fast and adequate exchange of information while at the same time using the best practices from the European guidelines for cooperation between police and customs in the area of typical to PCCCs tasks such as: - collect and exchange of information; - providing support to the competent authorities in the border area; - give its added value in analyzing the cross-border crimes through report of statistical data. The project envisaged visits to PCCCs in Europe and organizing a number of meetings on both national and regional level in the territory of Bulgaria.
