Support to the N.SIS rapid and efficient upgrading in compliance with Regulation 2018/1861

This project focuses on contribution development of a common policy to ensure a high level of security in the Union, while supporting actions to improve coordination between police cooperation bodies, improve access to and exchange of information, the availability of effective and secure information and communication systems of the Ministry of Interior, according to Regulation (EU) 2018/1861 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 28 November 2018 on the establishment, operation and use of the Schengen Information System (SIS) in the field of border checks, amending the Convention on implementation of the Schengen Agreement and amending and repealing Regulation (EC) № 1987/2006. The project fully complies with the objectives and priorities of the procedure and the program. The implementation of the project will ensure secure and reliable access to the National Schengen Information System of the second generation (N.SIS2) and its components and related elements.
