Training for airport risk assessment. Development of a "Profiling" methodology.

The project aims to develop a "Profiling" methodology for detecting potential terrorist offenders. The development of the methodology requires cooperation with law enforcement authorities from member states that possess and apply such a methodology. In this regard, visits to international European airports are foreseen and on site familiarization with the applied activities. On the basis of a study of the operational situation and the specificity of the passenger flow on the Bulgarian airports, indicators should be developed to establish atypical for the environment behaviors - derived from behavioral models related to the way of anticipation, way of communication, emotional state. Following the development of the methodology, it is planned to test within the planned trainied of police officers operating in areas at international airports.
