Purchase of IT equipment for SOCTA national experts

The aim of the project is the purchase of IT equipment for SOCTA national experts for enhancing their technical capacity. The aim group, which will be affected by the implementation of the project, consists of all officers of the Europol National Unit in Bulgaria and officers of the General Directorate Combating Organized Crime, responsible for the preparing of the assessment of serious and organized crime. The main objective of this project is to achieve a high level of security within the EU by enhancing the institutional capacity to prevent and counter cross-border, severe and organized crime, which is foreseen in Regulation (EU) No 513/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April 2014. The specific objective is to prevent crime, to combat cross-border, serious and organized crime. The expected results are increased technical capacity of the national experts competent for the priorities and the implementation of the OAP within SOCTA, as well as an improved preliminary police investigation. The main activity will be the purchase of 56 items IT equipment for the employees directly involved in the preparation of the serious and organized crime threat assessment, as well as the officers implementing the national priorities in the framework of the EU for combating serious and organized crime.
