Delivery of equipment for effective OIAs with partner services countering OCGs

General Directorate "Combating Organized Crime" has 18 regional sectors that provide combating cross-border and organized crime at national level. The fact that almost all regional sectors appear internal or external border of the Union, and the specifics of organized crime redefine conducting numerous jointly operative-investigation activities with partner services from neighboring countries. Motor vehicles are daily and obligatory tools for conducting successful operative-investigation activities for detecting and counteracting criminal activity committed by cross-border and organized crime groups, and through implementation of the project will be delivered 18 new all-terrain vehicles. The target group of the project are employees of the General Directorate "Combating Organized Crime" conducting operative-investigation activity. The general objective of the project is to contribute to ensuring a high level of security in the Union by enhancing institutional capacity for preventing and combating cross-border, serious and organized crime under Regulation (EC) № 513/2014 of the European Parliament and the Council and the specific objective is preventing crime and combating cross-border, serious and organized crime. The expected results are delivered specialized equipment for jointly operative-investigation activities with partner services from neighboring countries and enhance the efficiency of jointly operative-investigation activities with partner services from neighboring countries. The main activity of the project will be delivery of new all-terrain vehicles for effective operative-investigation activities carried out by General Directorate "Combating Organized Crime", jointly with partner services from neighboring countries to combat serious and organized crime.
