Enhancing capacity for protection of critical infrastructure and connected sites

With the purpose of enhancing administrative and operational capacity for protection of the critical infrastructure and connected sites at national and reginal level, it is envisage an integrated management system (IMS) to be developed and commissioned. This system will be based on own software and will allow gathering and processing information about these sites. It will be used in the activities implemented by Directorate General Fire Safety and Civil Protection (DGFSCP) in carrying out state fire control, prevention works and control on keeping requirements of the Law on disaster protection. Developing and commissioning of IMS in DGFSCP, Regional Directorates FSCP and District Services FSCP require implementation of some activities as follows: •Supply of the necessary hardware and system software with required licenses for development of integrated management system; •Provision of connection through Internet; •Staff training for work with the system; •Activities for system commissioning; •Measures for publicity and visualization. Target groups of the project are employees from District Services FSCP, Regional Directorates FSCP and DGFSCP–Ministry of the Interior (MoI) carrying out state fire control, prevention works and control on keeping requirements of the Law on disaster protection. It is envisage the following results to be achieved: •Improved protection of the National and European critical infrastructure; •Developed and commissioned IMS intended for gathering and processing data concerning certain critical infrastructures; •Trained employees of DGFSCP-MoI for work with the system. For implementation of the activities, it will be selected suppliers after carrying out public procurements (for supply and for services) according to the requirements of Law on public procurements. DGFSCP will implement the project in its individual capacity without partners. It is envisaged the project budget to be 756 749,26 BGN and its duration to be 48 months.
