Energy efficiency in building for educational center and culture in Blagoevgrad

The main objective of the project is to improve the energy efficiency of the Educational Center for Extracurricular Activities and Culture in Blagoevgrad by implementing appropriate energy efficiency measures through which the building will meet the conditions of the national definition of "building with close to zero energy consumption“ as per the provisions of the prepared energy audit. The implementation of the project will contribute to the achievement of the specific objectives of the call, related to the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions, energy consumption, saving financial resources, improving the lives of citizens. The project activities include the implementation of construction and installation works in connection with the introduction of energy efficiency measures in the Educational Center for Extracurricular Activities and Culture in Blagoevgrad according to a prepared investment project and Energy Efficiency Inspection Report. Energy saving measures related to the improvement of the thermal technical characteristics of the enclosing elements - walls, roof and transparent enclosing elements and energy saving measures related to the heating and air conditioning systems in the building and other energy consumer installations are envisaged. Activities for construction supervision, designer's supervision, project management, information and publicity, financial audit of the project and activities for exchange of experience and good practices in the field of EE and RES are also foreseen. As a result of the project implementation on the territory of the municipality the annual reductions of CO2 emissions will be 513.98 tons, the annual energy savings 435,575 MWh /year, and the annual cash savings - 83 150.00 BGN and at least 210 pcs. users of the building will directly benefit from the introduced energy efficiency measures. The implementation of the project will respect the basic principles of the EEA 2014-2021.
